This month, my blog is having a fresh start. As I look back at my previous illustrations, I felt proud of how much my drawings have improved. As a creative, I always search for things that will motivate and inspire me to create. Of course, it’s only normal that I sometimes get hit by art block from time to time but that’s only temporary. I never aim for perfection but for improvement. I’m no longer the confused person who doesn’t know how the Procreate app works. I’m not saying I’m a 100% pro but let’s just say, I already know my way around the app that I can draw comfortably and easily.
Change is good
As someone who is not a big fan of adventure and change, I’m surprised with how my mindset is totally different when it comes to making art and illustrations. I like to explore and try out different things. Ever since I started my art journey in late 2020, I have changed my art style four to five times already. I’m never satisfied and I’m always critical with myself. You can check my illustrations page and see that my drawings are not cohesive at all.
New art style
During the last week of April, I introduced my new art style on Instagram. I posted some illustrations that I made for my website and also did a redraw of my Amusement Park illustration from 2021. Seeing my new illustrations posted on IG gave me a spark of motivation to draw more and try out my new art style in this month’s free downloadable files.
Let’s Camp! Theme
This month’s theme is Let’s Camp! Milky and Miggy went on a camping trip together enjoying life’s simple joys and appreciating the simple things in life. A perfect outdoor adventure to celebrate their friendship.
A simple and minimalist wallpaper design that brings a cozy vibe to your phone. You can choose from three (3) different designs depending on the aesthetic you’re looking for.
Also, I created a digital calendar which you can use on your iPad or tablet if you like planning digitally or you can also print it for your desk or planners.
